When planning an Orlando vacation, it can be hard to choose the right resort for your family. From the character-driven Disney resorts to the ultra-luxe accommodations of the Four Seasons Orlando and Ritz Carlton Orlando, families are spoiled for choice when it comes to great hotels in Orlando. But I’m here to tell you there’s a new resort in town and every bit as fun as your favorite Walt Disney World or Universal Orlando property.

Evermore Orlando Resort is a brand-new 1,100-acre resort comprised of villas, vacation homes, flats, and hotel rooms. This unique destination resort is geared towards families who not only want to do a theme park, but also want a vacation that includes golf, water sports, great dining, and spa treatments.

The Luxe Recess team was lucky enough to stay at Evermore Orlando Resort just two weeks after it opened in January. Our team of writers, advisors, Disney and event experts convened for three days of fellowship, and Evermore provided the perfect setting to engage, relax, and enjoy. As some of the first guests of the resort, we were able to explore all the incredible amenities, as well as the top-tier accommodations.

Before we get into the details of what makes Evermore Orlando Resort so special, let’s start with the obvious: Evermore quite simply has the best pool in all of Orlando. As a business focused on luxury travel, it’s fair to say we’ve seen it allBut our first glimpse of Evermore, and more specifically, Evermore Bay, left us speechless.

When you hear about an eight-acre pool and 20-acre beach complex, you may not register how truly massive that is. When you see it in person, trust me, you will be stunned.  Evermore Bay is reason enough to book a stay, but there’s a lot more to this luxury amenity-packed resort than just an incredible pool.

Getting There

Evermore Orlando Resort is located about 30 minutes from the Orlando International Airport (MCO), and practically next door to the Disney Springs area. The resort occupies a stretch of land that encompasses the Grand Cypress golf complex. It is a quick drive to any of the parks, but it is closest to Disney Springs and Magic Kingdom. A short drive away is the Golden Oaks community with the Four Seasons as well as the Fort Wilderness resort.

The Evermore Resort Orlando Accommodation Options

Evermore Resort has four different options when it comes to accommodation choices. All accommodations have access to resort amenities, including Evermore Bay. However, proximity to the outdoor pools, golf, and dining can differ with each.

The Conrad Hotel

At its heart is the resort’s flagship hotel, The Conrad. Conrad hotels are a division of Hilton and are considered the brand’s contemporary luxe offering. The Conrad’s décor is sleek, minimalist luxury with some fun details throughout. The most standard rooms at the hotel begin at 450 square feet and suites are offered in one and two-bedroom setups.

The hotel has six on-site dining options, including a contemporary Mexican restaurant, Ceiba. It boasts rooftop views and a menu that has already been flagged by Michelin experts. The hotel is located directly on Evermore Bay and offers dedicated transportation to Disney parks. We look forward to doing a full review of the hotel in the coming months.

Flats at Evermore Bay

The Luxe Recess team was lucky enough to stay in the newly constructed four-bedroom flats. There are 206 flats at Evermore Orlando Resort, and all of them are located either directly on Evermore Bay or one row back from the Bay with what’s called a “Boardwalk View.” I suggest you spring for the better view.

The large, open floor plans sleep up to 11 and range in size from 1,800 to 2,000 square feet. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom, comfortable bedding, and plenty of storage space. Three of the bedrooms are king-bedded, while the fourth bedroom is a charming nautical-style bunkroom that can sleep up to six. The bathroom in the bunk room has a vintage-style double sink and walk-in shower; the open cubby storage with hooks in the bedroom is perfect for kids.

Décor throughout is contemporary coastal, comfortable, and stylish. The spacious living rooms feature a sectional couch, occasional chairs, a large Smart TV, and an oversized dining counter with stools. Modern kitchens feature full-sized appliances and are stocked with enough dishes, cookware, and utensils for at least 11 people.

Our flats featured spectacular views of Evermore Bay and the Grand Cypress golf course. We even had distant views of the Disney parks and enjoyed watching both Magic Kingdom and Epcot fireworks from our balconies though the specific location of a flat will determine if fireworks can be seen.

Vacation Rental Houses

The Evermore development is unique, not only due to its massive size and choice of accommodations but also because the rental homes are not privately owned. This means that the resort is maintaining a level of standard in every vacation home. Every home is furnished and maintained with the same sense of luxury and is professionally operated by the resort.

This is a huge perk where individual owners cannot ruin the look of a unit with their unique taste.

Homes range from 5-11 bedrooms and contain 6-13 bathrooms each. Every home has a private heated saltwater pool and an outdoor summer kitchen with a gas grill. The 69 homes all have access to Evermore amenities and would make the perfect choice for a multi-generational trip, girlfriends’ getaway, or golf retreat. The largest homes, sleeping up to 32 (!), also feature fancy media rooms and game spaces for the family. And if they can sleep up to 32 guests, the cabinets will be stacked with at least 32 plates, glasses, etc.

Villas

While the villas at Evermore Orlando Resort are the oldest accommodations on site (they are the former Grand Cypress golf villas), they were taken down to the studs during development and contain completely new appointments and design features. The Spanish-style villas come in one and two-story layouts and range from two to four bedrooms. All villas have full kitchens, living areas, and dining rooms.

The villas make a great choice for golfers, as many of them boast spectacular views of the Jack Nicklaus course, and all have outdoor terraces or patios. An advantage of the villas is their proximity to Evermore Bay, as many of them are located right near the Blue Hole pool and slide.

Amenities

We’ve already mentioned that Evermore Resort has the biggest pool in Orlando. Until you see it in person, it’s hard to imagine. The lake-sized pool of crystal-clear water stretches across eight acres! The entire shoreline offers zero-entry points, beach loungers, swings, private cabanas, and hammocks, evoking a true island getaway feel.

At its center, Evermore Bay reaches a depth of twelve feet, and lifeguards are on duty during swimming hours. The pool’s depth offers the opportunity for a long list of complimentary watersports. Standup paddleboarding, kayaks, and water trampolines are all scattered throughout the shoreline. The Blue Hole pool is a separate deep-water pool with a rope swing. There are two cliff-jumping platforms for older kids, while a family-style water slide seats four across and is fun for all ages.

Outdoor Activities

With two of the best golf courses in central Florida, golf at Evermore Orlando Resort is a huge draw for families who like to hit the links. Two 18-hole Jack Nicklaus-designed courses are on resort premises and Evermore guests have preferred access to tee times. A PGA-certified golf pro is on-site, offering golf instruction and clinics. Seasonal family activities like GlowGolf and FootGolf are also available.

The Boathouse is the heart of most activities at Evermore Resort. The large fitness center and yoga studio are located on the second floor. Daily fitness classes are a complimentary perk. But those who want to get in their daily walk can also enjoy the scenic 1/4-mile paved loop around Evermore Bay.

The area outside the food hall features outdoor fire pits, ping pong tables, and lawn games. In addition to its luxury amenities, Evermore also has a full calendar of daily activities for families. Nightly trivia, s’mores, pool parties, and ping pong tournaments are just a few of the activities on the calendar.

Want to unwind with a spa treatment? The full-service spa at The Conrad Hotel is available for guests staying within the Evermore Resort.

Food and Drink at Evermore Orlando Resort

Most accommodations at Evermore have a full kitchen for guests’ convenience. However, you may not want to cook at all when you see the vast dining choices within the resort gates. For convenience, the Boathouse houses a food hall with pizza, burger, and breakfast options, as well as a full-service coffee shop. A small market sells everything from beer and wine to lunch meat, breakfast food, and prepared salads and sandwiches.

Guests who want full-service dining have access to the four restaurants at the Conrad Hotel. These include a trattoria, a contemporary dining lounge, and a rooftop Mexican restaurant that has ambitions for a Michelin star. Three bars and lounges are located around Evermore Bay. The retro beach bar, Barbara Ann’s, occupies a charming red Volkswagen van parked in the sand. Another favorite is Ebb+Flow, the outdoor beach bar and lounge located on the lower level of The Boathouse. Come here for craft cocktails and small bites.

An Orlando Oasis

Evermore calls itself Orlando’s first-ever tropical beach paradise, and it’s easy to see why. At its heart is Evermore Bay, an artificial lagoon pool that will leave even the most seasoned traveler impressed. But the Evermore experience is about more than just an awesome swimming pool. Laid-back luxury is the theme of this hotel, from the well-appointed accommodations to the beautifully manicured gardens and grounds.

The diverse food and drink options span everything from beach bars to fine dining. And the endless outdoor activities like golf, pickleball, and watersports are enough to keep a family busy for a week. But even with all those choices (and that’s not accounting for time at the theme parks), all you really want is a vacation. And at Evermore Orlando Resort, you’ll find it.
